Luke Wilson is staying at the same hotel I am at. At first, I didn't want to be all fan girl, but I broke down at the bar. I approached him as he was walking back to his barstool. I did the whole "Excuse me... are you Luke Wilson?" He was all, "Uh Huh." Then this happened:

Have you ever kind of gotten something in your windpipe, and you get all wheezy and your eyes water, and you can't talk? This happens to me a lot when I have been overserved. Well, that happened... to him.

Luke Wilson: (gasp) excuse me... (gasp)... chicken...
Me: Do you want some water? I can get you something...
Luke holds up his hand, to stop me, like 'no it's ok'
Luke: Chicken...
Luke backs away and goes to the bar.

So there you have it. Chicken.

To his credit, there are TWO sales conferences going on in this hotel, and almost everyone I see is showing off their digital pictures that he took with them. He was like Pluto or something, posing with drunken textbook salespeople! So, Luke Wilson, I salute you, and I thank you for being so nice while you were choking.

My 10-11:50 session was interrupted so that the people attending could watch the shuttle launch. Apparently they could see nothing. That's OK, my feelings weren't hurt. Everyone came back and I showed them how to drag and drop attachments into their email. Way more impressive!
