Hooray for...
Dollywood! Yep, that's where we're going! We're flying out Saturday morning for a magical weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN. There, Scratch and I hope to accomplish several vacation goals:
- Ride the Thunderpants... uh, I mean, Thunderhead. It's a new-ish wood coaster (or "woodie" as the coaster lovers call it.) It's supposed to be pretty bad-ass.
- Encounter magical Christmas moments. There's no "happy holidays" here, folks. I am hoping to get a photo suitable for our Holiday Greetings.
- If time permits, see the Dixie Stampede dinner show. Think Medieval Times, but countrified. And, to make it even better, at Christmas? There's a "living nativity" with real camels. I'm not sure if the ostrich races come before or after the birth of Christ, but hey, there's chicken you eat with your hands!
- Find some sort of handcrafted items to mock, then purchase for at-home mocking. Who's the sucker? Yup, I'm the sucker.

I want to hear all about it! I read an article with interest today and thought of you & Scratch- it was about Dolly opening up some new theater with her brother. Be sure to document your trip for us!
